结霜分为正常结霜和非正常结霜两种情况;正常结霜当冬季室外温度低于0℃时,换热器温度低于环境空气的露点温度时,整个换热器上散热片表面会发作凝露水。当环境空气温度低于0℃,凝露水就会凝结成薄霜。当然结霜严峻时会影响机器制热效果。一般热泵产品都有自动化霜功用,确保机组正常工作。

由于缺制冷剂室外侧换热器底部从毛细管出口处换热器进口处就会初步结霜,而且换热器大部分未有凝露水,随时间推延结霜,由下至上结霜延伸。制冷剂过多也会出现室外环境温度大于0℃还结霜的问题。室外侧换热器出口处和回气管结霜很厚,而且在换热器上随时间推延由上至下,由换热器出口向换热器进口方向结霜延伸,导致制热效果差。
